Cork Community Art Link is a Community Arts Organisation and registered Charity in Cork, Ireland

We encourage meaningful collaborations between artists and people that result in the creation of great art, bringing creativity to places where people live, work and play

We work with people to create a sense of community identity and collective pride enabling people to learn more about themselves and the world around them all the while having fun

Our work engages people both as participants and spectators in public spaces, developing new ways of connecting with the arts and encouraging them to come along, learn new skills and make a creative contribution to the community

Some of our 2021 Projects

Patrick's

Day

CCAL have a long history of participation in the St Patrick's Day Parade. In 2021 we created an installation and an audio piece involving contributions from the public for Bishop Lucey Park.

Rebel

Streets

The Rebel Streets project engages communities on the street where they live, work and play. In 2021 we painted a mural for Traveller Visibility Group and more, kindly supported by Creative Ireland.

Dragon of

Shandon

Each year, Cork’s Northside lights up with a celebration of the living and the dead, with an assortment of creatures from the underworld roaming the streets.

This year, the Dragon of Shandon took the form of an installation trail, treasure map, and live performances.

Help Support Us

We have created amazing community art projects that have involved thousands of participants over the past 28 years, including our monumental annual Halloween event - The Dragon of Shandon Parade - which brought over 15,000 spectators to the streets in 2018!

If you would like to take part and support amazing creative projects for the community you can donate to CCAL by clicking the button below.

You can give as little as €5, and every donation will help facilitate artistic and creative workshops to all members of the community free of charge in order to bring these wonderful projects to life!

Thank you!
