The Blue Hope Initiative : Laura Pauwels, The Cork Sexual Violence Centre and Cork Community Artlink joined forces on a 2 month project called The Blue Hope Initiative. Together they created an interactive art installation for World Day Against Trafficking in Persons which was displayed in Cork’s Bishop Lucey Park on the 30th July 2016.
The Living Memories story started in September 2010, through a collaboration between Multimedia Artist Fernando Tunon and the Meelagh Community centre for Travellers, in a project that was seed funded by Cork City Council's “Community Arts Development Fund” and supported by Cork Community Art Link. The project grew from the idea that the Traveller community in Ireland was mainly documented by professionals who didn’t belong to the community itself.
"The Dog House Project" The developmental project saw the Blackpool Men's Group working Art Link and engaging for the first time in a creative arts environment. Focusing on aspects of their unique cultural identity and culture the Men's Group worked on a series of individual dog houses and a doll house. This first successful encounter will lead to the development of future collaborative projects and involvement of members of the group in multi community projects such as Halloween.
"Igloo Project" : Cork Community Art Link in partnership with St Mary's Road Library and the One Book One Shandon project celebrate the exploits of Antarctic explorer Tom Crean. 24 northside schools have participated in workshops at St Mary's Road Library to create an igloo structure made from over 2000 plastic milk containers and a range of tapes sculptures.
"Pride Parade 2008, Cork" : Cork Community Art Link facilitated costume, mask and large puppet workshops with members of the LGBT Community and the Cork Pride organising committee. Participants were introduced to a range of creative skills and techniques generating a Venetian Themes Carnevale section to the 2008 Pride Parade.
