St. Patrick's Day Parade 2017!

Picture

Never mind watching the parade this Paddy's Day – you can be in it!

Join Cork Community Art Link as we bring a host of spectacular floats and performances to Cork's St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 17th. Working on the theme of Culture, Community and Commerce, in the next few weeks we'll be busy hammering, sawing, painting, papier-mâchéing and rehearsing to create gigantic pieces that will delight and astound the crowds on the day of the parade.

We'd like YOU to be part of it, and there are many ways to volunteer – whether you'd like to drop in to our new workshop and do a spot of painting, or push floats on the day of the parade, there's room for everyone to get involved. You'll be helping to create a magical experience for the thousands of people that turn out in Cork to watch the parade every year, learning new skills and having fun while you're at it!

If you'd like to take part in the preparations or the parade itself, email us on info@corkcommunityartlink.com to find out more. You can also call us on 021 4553747, or drop in to the Lido (71, Watercourse - Blackpool)

Parade Route: The parade runs from the South Mall to the Grand Parade, along St. Patrick’s Street and finishes at Merchant’s Quay..

We'll see you there!
