Conference ; access and participation in the arts
In october CCAL organised a one-day conference which explored issues of access and participation in the arts from a local and national perspective.
Invited speakers included Declan McGonagle, City Arts Centre, Dublin, Rita Fagen, Inchicore community Development Project and Peter Hussey Crooked House Theatre Company, Kildare as well as a panel of local practitioners, groups and centres.
The conference was funded by the Combat Poverty Agency and Cork City Council Social Inclusion Unit.
